FASH:Leading Australians back plain packaging
Four former Australians of the Year have signed a letter to federal MPs, supporting
legislation to mandate plain packaging of cigarettes in Australia.
They are among 250 professors, from medical and health faculties throughout Australia,
who say plain packaging of tobacco would help reduce the appeal of smoking, particularly
to children and young people.
Professors Sir GUS NOSSAL, IAN FRAZER, FIONA STANLEY and FIONA WOOD have put their
names to the letter coordinated by the Cancer Council, the National Heart Foundation and
the Public Health Association of Australia.

FED:Treasurer says CPI rise 'unsurprising'=6
The ABS said fruit prices increased by 14.5 per cent in the March quarter mainly due
to an increase of 100 per cent in the cost of bananas following floods and Cyclone Yasi.
Vegetable prices jumped 16 per cent driven by price rises in cauliflowers, broccoli,
lettuce, pumpkin and potatoes due to damaged crops as well as usual seasonal price rises.
Automotive fuel escalated 8.8 per cent.
"Fruit and vegetable prices (combined) rose 15.3 per cent, contributing around 0.4

SYDNEY, Aug 29 AAP - Doctors may soon have an additional way to combat cardiovascular
disease, after a major study has identified the important role played by heart rate.
The research, detailed at the European Society of Cardiology Congress in Stockholm,
involved more than 6,000 cardiovascular disease patients from 37 countries including Australia.
It found that those who took a drug that lowered their heart rate to less than 70 beats
per minute, in addition to their usual medications, had a 26 per cent reduced risk of
hospitalisation or death.
Professor Henry Krum, from Melbourne's Monash Centre of Cardiovascular Research, said
it was a breakthrough result.
"Heart failure in this country is big and serious," said Prof Krum, who oversaw Australia's
contribution to the research.
"This will change medical practice and treatment guidelines ... The best part is: it
will change the outlook for patients with heart failure."
Conventional treatments for cardiovascular disease focus on blood pressure, not heart
rate, while also reducing cholesterol and making lifestyle changes.
Study co-chairman Professor Karl Swedberg, of Sweden's Gothenberg University, said
the research showed a "high heart rate is bad for heart failure patients".
"So, we should routinely measure heart rate in all heart failure patients and if it
is above 70 beats per minute, selective heart rate lowering with additional treatment
should be considered."
The research is also published The Lancet online, on Sunday.

FED: When it comes to beauty, Aussies say what financial crisis?
The global financial crisis hasn't stopped Australians spending up big on non-surgical
cosmetic procedures.
Almost 450 million dollars was spent on treatments like anti-wrinkle injections and
laser hair removal over the 12 months to March 31 .. up 30 per cent on the same period
last year.
But Dr GABRIELLE CASWELL .. president of the Cosmetic Physicians Society of Australasia
.. says patients were more selective .. opting for procedures with longer lasting effects.
Dr CASWELL says people were also more willing to do research .. often online .. and
weren't prepared to spend time and money on treatments that don't deliver measurable results.

Hock: Hockeyroos' Olympic dreams shattered
By Laine Clark
BEIJING, Aug 18 AAP - It all ended in tears for the Hockeyroos at the Beijing Olympics tonight.
A distraught Australian women's hockey team could not hide their emotions after they
were knocked out of the medal round by a fiesty China.
The three-time Olympic champions missed out on a semi-final berth despite coming back
from two goals down to force a 2-2 draw at the Beijing Olympic Green Hockey Stadium tonight.
But the shattered Hockeyroos knew their efforts had gone unrewarded, with world No.5
China qualifying ahead of Australia for Wednesday night's semi-finals thanks to a superior
goal difference.
It was a must-win match for the rebuilding Australian women - never an easy task against
the hosts backed by a rabid home crowd.
Australia had a 31-5 overall record against China before the match, losing their last
match against the Olympic hosts way back in 2006.
But the improving Chinese were also always going to be a different proposition tonight.
In a match that China had to draw to join the Netherlands in Wednesday's semi-finals,
all the pressure was on an Australian side with 10 Olympic rookies.

By Roberta Mancuso
BRISBANE, April 11 AAP - Could the cane toad's days be numbered?
From whacking them with cricket bats and golf clubs, freezing them alongside the Sunday
roast to smearing them with haemorrhoid cream, Australians have long experimented with
novel - and often brutal - ways to rid their backyards of the beastly toad, whose scientific
name is Bufo marinus.
However, there has been a renewed push to wipe out the putrid pest with a national
Toad Day Out - a cross between the Big Day Out music festival and Clean Up Australia Day.
Queensland Nationals MP Shane Knuth is encouraging Aussies to roll up their sleeves
and remove toads by hand from their backyards.
"The toad is probably the greatest environmental vermin and probably the most disgusting
creature known to man," he said.
"Each female toad can produce up to 20,000 eggs.
"If even 3,000 female toads were collected, this has the potential of eliminating 60
million toads hopping around our environment."
Participants would be encouraged to put the toads in their fridge before euthanasing
them in the freezer.
They would then be disposed of at a specially set-up centre.
The idea, which made international headlines and drew comparisons to TV show The Simpsons'
snake "whacking day", is catching on.
A committee - made up of Queensland government departments including the Department
of Primary Industries, as well as Townsville and Charters Towers councils, and university
and tourism representatives - has been set up to make Toad Day Out a reality by next January.
Science has also been feverishly working on a solution, launching biological and genetic
warfare on the poisonous pest.
Australia's national science agency, CSIRO, has been working on its own version of
cane toad kryptonite - a virus which turns off the genes responsible for turning cane
toad tadpoles into sexually mature adult toads.
The Bohle Iradovirus would stop toads from being able to produce eggs, eventually wiping
out the population.
Scientists hope to know soon whether trials of the virus in toads will be successful.
Another solution is also in the pipeline.
Canberra-based company Pestat has developed a spray which contains an anesthetic capable
of putting a toad to sleep in 15 to 20 seconds before killing it.
Pestat managing director David Dall describes "Hop Stop" as a bug spray for toads.
"One effect is a very rapid anesthetic of the toad, and then another of the components
actually poisons the toads over the next 30 minutes or so," the former CSIRO scientist
said.
"They stop moving and go from being aware to being semi-conscious to comatose to unconscious
over the space of a few minutes.
"It's essentially a bug spray for toads."
Around 30 to 50 average-sized toads could be killed with one can, which would cost
about the same as garden sprays.
The company this week carried out its first pilot-scale production of the product in
a Sydney aerosol factory.
However, it is yet to receive federal approval.
Dr Dall said the spray was a humane and safe way to get rid of toads.
"We are not interested in anything we think is not humane," he said.
"This is a technology that every adult in the country knows how to use."
The spray has the support of the RSPCA, which has also backed Mr Knuth's kill-a-cane-toad
day idea.
However, James Cook University toad expert Professor Rod Alford, who is part of the
Toad Day Out steering committee, said while the toad was a menace to native animals like
quolls, snakes and goannas, there was little hard evidence about just how much damage
it could cause.
"And there is not much hard evidence that the effects are completely disastrous on
a big scale," Prof Alford said.
"I think people maybe shouldn't panic as much as they do ... it isn't quite the complete
disaster that people worry about it being."
The cane toad was introduced from Hawaii to Gordonvale in far north Queensland in 1935
in a misguided attempt to control the cane beetle, a pest of sugar cane crops.
Cane toads have since spread through Australia's northern landscape, expanding their
range by 2,750 kilometres a year, according to the federal Department of Environment and
Heritage.
Now they're hopping their way towards Western Australia.
The RSPCA in Darwin last year came up with the idea of rubbing toads with haemorrhoid
cream, which acts as an anaesthetic, to control their populations.
Many still prefer to swerve their cars at them or use them to practise their golf swing.
But Prof Alford said toads were vertebrate animals and "undoubtedly feel pain".
"It's not their fault that they're there," he said.
However, he couldn't see a toad-free future for Australia anytime soon.
"I think we probably will end up living with them," Prof Alford said.
"But it would be very nice if we were living with them at much lower numbers."

Qld: Record internships give health system vital boost
BRISBANE, Dec 24 AAP - Record numbers of graduate medical students and nurses will
start work in Queensland public hospitals in 2007.
Premier Peter Beattie announced today that Queensland Health would provide a record
400 hospital internships in 2007 for young doctors entering the health system for the
first time.
"That's 81 more clinical training positions than the 319 internships we provided in
January 2006," Mr Beattie said.
A record 883 graduate nurses have already accepted jobs as registered nurses with Queensland
Health to start in January, and Mr Beattie said this number would rise even further as
the recruitment drive continues in the coming months.
A further 16 graduate nurses from the Queensland Health Rural Scholarship Scheme will
also start work at rural and remote hospitals in January.
Mr Beattie said the recruitment drive has been aimed at keeping interns who have studied
in Queensland from heading overseas or interstate to work.
This year, 221 of the 226 medical students who graduated from Brisbane's University
of Queensland have accepted jobs with Queensland Health, as have 66 of the 74 graduate
medical students from James Cook University in far north Queensland.
"The 400 internships we're providing ensure all those fledgling doctors have clinical
training positions under the supervision of senior doctors in our hospitals," Mr Beattie
said.
"Queensland Health also continues to work with the AMAQ (Australian Medical Association
of Queensland), medical colleges, unions and councils representing nurses and allied health
staff to improve clinical training and professional development opportunities for our
health workforce."

Fed: Trainee surgeons to practise in cyberspace more often
By Janelle Miles, National Medical Correspondent
BRISBANE, April 10 AAP - Apprentice surgeons will operate on "virtual patients" more
often under a plan to tackle the shortage of surgeons.
Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (RACS) president Russell Stitz said the college
was looking at ways to fast-track training so doctors could become fully qualified surgeons
after six years without compromising patient safety.
Some doctors currently take up to a decade to qualify in surgery after completing their
medical degrees and a year's internship at a public hospital.
Under a proposed overhaul, surgical trainees would spend more time in "cyber-training",
practising on virtual simulators - similar to those used by pilots, Dr Stitz said.
The Brisbane-based colorectal surgeon said the simulators, although not quite as realistic
as operating on a patient, were "pretty close" to the real thing.
So much so that "cutting into" a virtual patient's skin, the result projected on a
computer screen, felt just like cutting into human tissue.
"If you're doing a gall bladder operation, you can `grasp' the gall bladder and ...
it feels just like it does when you hold a real one," Dr Stitz said in an interview.
And if the trainee accidentally cuts into a blood vessel, the computer software is
designed to ensure it bleeds.
"You have to react and fix it so it prepares surgeons to deal with adverse events,"
Dr Stitz said.
"There's no substitute for real cases. It's not quite as good as the real thing but
it's pretty good."
Dr Stitz said the college also hoped to persuade governments into providing funds to
get surgical trainees into private hospitals to broaden their case mix.
He said more than half of surgical cases were performed in the private sector, including
non-urgent operations no longer common in major public hospitals.
"We need to access those cases ... in terms of the spread of the case mix we offer
to trainees," Dr Stitz said.
"If you're not seeing any of the common cases in the public system because there isn't
enough money to do them and because the emergency load is blocking all the beds, then
obviously we have to look at the alternatives to train the surgeons."
Dr Stitz said there was an urgent need to find more efficient ways of training surgeons
and reducing hospital waiting lists.
A recent survey of Australian surgeons, average age 55.5, found one in four planned
to permanently down scalpels in the next five years.
Almost half planned to retire within 15 years as the ageing population creates more
demand for surgical services.
The proposed changes have yet to be approved by the nine sub-specialist surgical associations
and societies which come under the RACS banner.

Fidelity Exec Urges: Put Customers First.(Gail McGovern)(Brief Article)
BOSTON -- Cable companies should pay close attention to meeting their customers' demands for choice, convenience and price or risk losing them to third-party aggregators, Fidelity Personal Investments president Gail McGovern said last Tuesday in her address at the Cable & Telecommunications Association for Marketing's CTAM Summit here.
McGovern, a former AT&T Corp. marketing executive, noted that several Web-based companies, including Essential.com Inc., and GetConnected Inc., allow consumers to negotiate low prices for services including Internet access, satellite television and utilities.
Fidelity has initiated a number of consumer marketing activities that cable operators can also adopt, including customer-friendly Web sites where investors can conduct transactions.
In attempting to move frequent callers over to the Web, "our customers ended up educating us," McGovern noted. "We learned that we needed to improve our site." The company also learned that "age has absolutely nothing to do with who's using the Web," she added.
McGovern said the cable and financial-services markets have common elements. Both industries are highly regulated, both face increasing competition, both are undergoing rapid technological change and both deliver products and services "that customers care enormously about." MCN

Airfarewatchdog Airfarewatchdog Picks World's Top 10 Most Thrilling Airports. Airfarewatchdog released its list of the World's Most Thrilling Airports for takeoffs, landings, and approaches. The top 10 feature ocean-covered runways, abrupt descents, and landings over sunbathers. Airfarewatchdog president George Hobica said, "Globe-trotting frequent flyers probably have their own favorite 'thrilling' airports that might not be on this list. Anyone who once flew into the old Hong Kong airport remembers literally being able to see what people in adjacent apartment buildings were watching on their TV sets. And let's not forget the amusement park ride that is St. Barts' tiny airport. How fun is that!" Airfarewatchdog picks for the World's Most Thrilling Airports include: - Toncontin International Airport, Tegucigalpa, Honduras Highlight: To line up with the runway, planes must make a last-second 45-degree turn. - Princess Juliana International Airport, Philipsburg, St. Maarten Highlight: Planes fly mere feet over sunbathers. - Queenstown Airport, Queenstown, New Zealand Highlight: On descent, passengers may feel a sudden drop in altitude caused by downdrafts. - Gustaf III Airport, St. Jean, St. Barts Highlight: "Small airports, short runways, and terrain are the three whammies of flying," says Pilot Anonymous. Gustaf III Airport has all three. - Sitka Rocky Gutierrez Airport, Sitka, Alaska Highlight: Unpredictable weather means that pilots need to take caution of boulders and other debris that can wash onto the runway. - Courcheval Airport, Courcheval, France Highlight: A short 1,722-foot runway, and Courcheval has a steep incline (which slows planes down on landing and speeds them up on takeoff). - Catalina Airport (Airport in the Sky), Avalon, California Highlight: The sole runway is raised in the middle, so much so that pilots can't see where it ends. - LaGuardia Airport, New York, New York Highlight: Before landing, pilots make a number of white-knuckle turns, one of which is 180-degrees around Citi Field. - Tenzing-Hillary Airport (Lukla Airport), Lukla, Nepal Highlight: This is 9,000 feet high in the Himalayas, and pilots have one shot to land, as the terrain rules out a fly-around. - Barra Airport, Barra, Scotland Highlight: It's always a beach landing, and runways form when the tide goes out. American Airlines continues its forward momentum in the mobile application space once again as it launches apps for BlackBerry[umlaut] and Windows[umlaut] Phone smartphones. These latest additions to American's suite of mobile apps make American accessible on more devices and through more channels than any other airline, underscoring its commitment to keeping its customers connected while on the go. Available for the BlackBerry Curve*, BlackBerry Torch*, BlackBerry Tour*, BlackBerry Bold* and Windows Phone smartphones, the new apps offer many of the same convenient mobile tools that are available in American's previously released apps for Android*, iPhone[umlaut], iPad[umlaut], iPod touch[umlaut] and the Barnes & Noble NOOK Color Reader's Tablet*. These useful features, which are designed to simplify travel for American's customers on the go, include the ability to: Create flight status notifications Check flight status and schedules View personal flight details Check in for flights Access mobile boarding passes Monitor standby status Access AAdvantage[umlaut] accounts and enroll in the program Track AAdvantage elite status progress View terminal maps In addition, a unique feature of American's app for BlackBerry smartphones allows users to save their flight itineraries directly to their calendars. A future version of the app will allow users to easily share their flight information with contacts via BBM* (BlackBerry Messenger*). The introduction of American's apps for BlackBerry and Windows Phone smartphones also means that American's mobile apps are available to a large majority of smartphone users. According to a recent Nielsen report, BlackBerry, Android, Apple and Windows Phone make up 87 percent of the smartphone market. In addition, more than 90 percent of American Airlines customers who access AA.com's mobile site use devices on these platforms, highlighting American's focus on developing useful technologies that meet the needs of its customers. "We know our customers continue to rely heavily on their mobile devices when traveling, and these new apps will simplify travel for a larger portion of them," said Andrew Watson, American's Vice President [ETH] Customer Technology. "Whether they need to check in for a flight, view their itinerary or access their mobile boarding pass, customers can use our apps to stay connected and make their travel experience more convenient right from the palms of their hands." American's new apps are the latest in a number of recent mobile options and enhancements that American is rolling out to solidify its leadership in the mobile space. This month, American continued to expand its Mobile Boarding Pass functionality, which is now available to customers traveling through more than 65 cities, most recently adding Cincinnati; Hartford, Conn.; Grand Rapids, Mich.; Louisville, Ky.; Milwaukee; Madison, Wis.; and Montevideo, Uruguay. American plans to add even more cities to the list in July. As American continues to make the Mobile Boarding Pass option available across its network, customers around the world will benefit from the time (and paper) savings the technology offers. The Mobile Boarding Pass process is simple. After checking in through one of American's mobile apps, the Mobile Boarding Pass is stored for easy access during the travel process. Customers who don't have an app can get their Mobile Boarding Pass through the online check-in process on AA.com by selecting the "Email with Mobile Option." They then will receive an email with an Internet link to their boarding pass, which is comprised of a 2-D barcode that can be scanned both at security checkpoints and at American Airlines gates. More details, including a complete list of cities where Mobile Boarding is available, can be found at AA.com/MobileBoarding. To help customers stay connected throughout their travels, the AA.com Notification Center at AA.com/Connect enables AAdvantage members to set up flight status notification preferences just one time to automatically receive updates on gates, times and baggage claim areas via email, voicemail or text message for all their future flights. Customers can also set up notifications for friends and family and save up to 10 contacts in their AAdvantage profile. In addition, customers can still create a one-time notification for any American Airlines flight, even if they are not flying on that particular flight. For customers who may not have an Internet enabled smartphone or one of American's mobile apps, the airline has developed a one-off text message notification option that provides customers information for specific flights on the day of travel. The recently launched FLYAA text option allows customers to send a text message with their flight number and airport code, or just their flight number, to FLYAA (35922) and receive an instant text response with useful details, including gates, times and baggage claim areas. Details on how to use the FLYAA text option can be found at AA.com/FLYAA. "American's growth in all areas of the mobile space this past year has been very exciting for the company, as well as for our customers," said Rick Elieson, Managing Director [ETH] American Airlines Interactive Marketing. CheapSally.com Penny-Pinching Travel Tips for Summer From CheapSally.com. Family Features Being on a strict budget may mean making sacrifices along the way, but with a little smart planning -- and shopping -- your well-deserved vacation getaway need not be forsaken. The Internet, including online travel agencies, branded suppliers and other websites, is the leading source of travel information, surpassing referrals from friends and acquaintances and travel books, according a 2009 survey by the U.S. Travel Association. With so much information available at your fingertips, it's easy to plan ahead and manage your travel spending. Not only that, a wide range of travel coupons are available online to help trim costs even further. Follow these tips from the cost-conscious experts at CheapSally.com to make your vacation dollars work hard for you. Accommodations: According to the U.S. Travel Association, lodging is the second highest source of travel spending in the country (second only to food). But your accommodations don't have to break the bank. First, consider what type of hotel will best suit your travel needs. Will your trip be filled with sightseeing, tours and excursions that keep you away from your room most of the time? Or do you prefer to spend a leisurely stay at the hotel, enjoying its onsite amenities and attractions? Depending on your preferences, you can allocate your spending to the elements that matter most. In other words, if exploring is on your agenda, save some cash by booking a lower-cost hotel with fewer amenities. Online tools will allow you to search by amenities, location and even by other travelers' ratings. Many sites offer hotel discounts, as well as tools to determine which arrival dates offer the best rates. Flights: Pack light. Most airlines now charge for checked baggage, and extra fees apply if you exceed quantity and weight limits. Remember, you'll have to double those fees if you want to return home with your luggage. Start early and do your homework. Several services are available that help you compare rates, as well as the number of stops and travel schedules, side by side. You'll get better rates booking well in advance. And never make an online purchase without checking first to see whether any discount codes are available to bring your price even lower. Car Rentals: Beware of extra expenses with the add-ons, taxes and fees. Whenever possible, return the car with a full tank of gas. Know that airport car rentals are at a premium. If you can arrange for other transportation -- such as a hotel shuttle -- look for rental locations near, or even at, your hotel that are likely more competitively priced. Be sure to try variations in your pick-up and drop-off dates and times. Even minor alterations can impact your price, for example, taking you out of the daily rate and into weekend pricing. Vacation Packages: Numerous airlines and travel sites offer vacation packages with myriad features. Flights and car rental, car rental and hotel, all three -- you name it. In addition to discounts on the key elements of the package, many also offer steeply discounted -- or even free -- add-ons such as entertainment tickets or meal vouchers. For the best deals, look for last-minute packages, where prices have been slashed to help fill vacancies, or for off-season destinations. www.CheapSally.com. Jun 27, 2011

Twitter, Facebook When you're traveling and something goes wrong, all you want is for someone to help you get back on track. That used to mean lengthy lines in the airport or long hold times on the phone, but that's been changing, thanks to social media. Airlines are quickly learning that social media tools, particularly Twitter, can act as an excellent customer service channel. Though Twitter and Facebook have been around for several years, many airlines, like other companies, were hesitant to really embrace them. These outlets have given people a great deal of power, and companies are generally afraid of things they can't control. Forward-thinking airlines like Southwest and JetBlue have long participated, but others have only recently realized that it's a smart move. The power of social media is undeniable. Just ask Delta Air Lines. A video posted on YouTube of military personnel upset over fees for their fourth checked bags recently earned the carrier a tidal wave of negative attention. The airline already provided three checked bags for free to active-duty military, and the government reimbursed fees for any additional bags, but the reaction via social media channels was overwhelming anger. The uproar actually caused Delta to change its policy and increase its allowance, and other airlines followed suit. In the past, many airlines have tried to ignore things that bubbled up via social media, and that hasn't worked well. Remember "United Breaks Guitars," where a frustrated United passenger took to the Web with a music video to get satisfaction? United finally responded once the story got legs, but now airlines are quicker to react. But those instances are few and far between. More important than how an airline reacts to viral stories is how an airline responds to regular people with travel problems. Jun 27, 2011

Islam Karimov: It is the era of the Internet.
TASHKENT, June 29, 2011 (TCA) -- President of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov congratulated the local journalists on their professional holiday, celebrated in the country on June 27 and promised a number of changes, including reducing the tax burden, as REGNUM reported "Today, looking at the path and estimating what was made during a historically short period, we can be proud of our country, people who overcome with dignity the hardest years of the national independence, relying primarily on their own resources, capabilities and potential; follow the path of building a democratic state, large-scale reforms of the civil society and integration into the global community with confidence," - said a festive message of Karimov, issued by the local media. However, Karimov said: "Critically evaluating our work on the development of the media, I think there is no need to prove that for all of us today the most important thing is to draw the appropriate conclusions, put on the agenda the current issues dictated by the time and provide them with a solution." Karimov pointed to the need to reform and modernize the media. "One of the most urgent tasks today are to increase the media's role in ensuring the freedom of information, establishment of public control over the activities of the government and management, the transformation of the press in a free platform where people can openly express their thoughts and ideas, attitudes and relation to current events," - he said According to the president, life itself requires the need to expedite the adoption of new laws relating to transparency and openness in the activities of public authorities, for Broadcasting Development, the economic foundations of the media and guaranteeing their state support. "This is about the provision of new state benefits and preferences for further development of the media, publishing houses, printing companies and organizations for the dissemination of the press. I would like to announce that from next year it is planned to significantly reduce their tax burden," promised Karimov In his view, these benefits will undoubtedly create a financial background to ensure not only in words but in fact the independence of the media, which, together with rising income, material well-being of workers in this sphere will have a major positive impact on development of other industries. In this regard, the head of Uzbekistan proposed to "use the experience of developed countries and to take firm control of its implementation." Along with this, he stated the fact that "it was the era of the Internet, the dynamic development of Internet TV, Internet radio, e-mail, online videos and many other new information technologies, and that today the scope of their influence and audience members significantly expands" and called all journalists, "especially the young," to a comprehensive mastering new information and communication technologies "I have always attached a great respect for the work of journalists, their effects on people, society as a whole. We are all aware of the strength and importance of journalistic expression, whose influence and effectiveness depends primarily on your talent and skills, social position, personal qualities and professional abilities, responsible approach. Millions of readers, viewers, listeners have always expected such inspiring words from you. I would like to stress once again that you, journalists, artists of their profession, you words can lead people to the noble goals of living in the interests of the people who think about the present and future of the country, I think its most solid and reliable support," - said President of Uzbekistan.
